Terms of Service

Version of October 31, 2026

These terms govern your use of Provenio, available at provenio.app and dash.provenio.app. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use Provenio.

1. Who we are

Provenio is published by Provenio LLC (registration in progress).

2. What Provenio does

Provenio is an attribution and acquisition cockpit. For each space (a website and its apps), it brings together figures you already measure in other tools, such as Google Search Console, Google Ads, Apple Ads, Google Analytics, Firebase, DataFast or ChottuLink, so you can see queries, traffic sources, cost per install or per account, and the path from a visit to a business action.

  • Read-only. Provenio reads your sources; it writes nothing to them and changes none of your settings. By default it imports aggregated figures only, no IP addresses or individual browsing history. The one exception, which you choose: the “Full read access” option for your Supabase database (section 7).
  • You can withdraw Provenio's access at any time, from your space's Integrations page or from the tool concerned (Google, Apple Ads, etc.).
  • Apple Ads. If you connect Apple Ads, Provenio reads your campaign data (spend, impressions, taps and installs, per campaign and per day) in read-only mode. It uses an API key that Provenio generates and stores encrypted, and that you register with Apple; you can remove it with Apple at any time.
  • Firebase (option). A space's owner can connect Firebase: Provenio then reads, read-only and for the chosen project only, daily aggregated figures for the iOS and Android apps (events, active users, sessions, first acquisition source) through Google Analytics. When Firebase and your first-party events count the same installs or accounts, a single source per measure is used, which you choose in Settings: Provenio never adds them together.

3. Early access and free of charge

Provenio is in early access: access opens gradually, on request. Today the service is free and no price has been set. Features may change, be added or removed. If a paid offer is introduced, these terms will be updated as described in section 12, and you will be told before it applies to you.

4. Account and spaces

  • An account is personal: an e-mail address and a password you keep secret. You are responsible for what is done with your account; tell us if you think it was used without your knowledge.
  • You provide accurate information and keep your e-mail address up to date.
  • You can create spaces, within the limit set by the service (three per account today). A space's owner decides who its members are and what is connected to it, and can turn off the ProvenIA assistant for the whole space. The owner answers for how invited people use it.

5. Your obligations

  • You have the right to connect your sources. You only connect accounts, sites, apps and tools that you own or are authorised to connect (for example, with your client's agreement if you work on their behalf), and you comply with those tools' terms.
  • You remain responsible for your own visitors' data: you make sure that your sites and tools collect it lawfully (information, consent where required).
  • No personal data in ProvenIA. Do not type names, e-mail addresses or other personal data into the assistant: it does not need them. This does not cover the excerpts of your database that ProvenIA reads itself if you turn on full access (section 7).
  • You do not try to access a space that is not yours, bypass usage limits, disrupt the service or use it for anything unlawful.
  • You keep your API keys and credentials confidential and tell us if they leak.

6. Your data

  • It stays yours. The data you connect or enter in your space belongs to you. Provenio uses it only to provide the service and processes it on your behalf and on your instructions, with the technical providers described in the privacy policy (in French).
  • The keys and tokens you provide are stored encrypted, per space. They are used to read your sources, nothing else.
  • You grant us only the right strictly needed to run the service: to read, store, compute and display this data for you and your space's members.
  • Provenio, its software, interface and trademarks remain Provenio's. Google and other names belong to their owners; Provenio is neither affiliated with nor endorsed by them.

7. Full read access (option)

By default, a connected Supabase database gives Provenio totals only. A space's owner can voluntarily turn on “Full read access” mode, after a consent screen. Provenio can then read, read-only, the tables you have chosen, and ProvenIA can read excerpts from them. These tables may contain personal data about your own users.

  • Roles. For this data, you are the controller and Provenio is your processor within the meaning of Article 28 of the GDPR: it acts on your behalf and on your instructions (turning the mode on, the list of tables, the masked columns). Anthropic, which provides ProvenIA's model, acts as a sub-processor: it receives excerpts (at most 200 rows, values truncated to 80 characters, masked columns excluded).
  • Your responsibilities. You turn this mode on only if you are entitled to do so for the data concerned (information to your users, legal basis). You choose only the tables you really need and mask the columns you do not need (e-mail, phone…). Your space's members can see what these tables let them read.
  • Minimisation and retention. Provenio reads only the list of tables you chose. It stores no row of your database; its audit log keeps neither queries nor results. The details, including Anthropic's, are in the privacy policy (in French).
  • You can take control back at any time. From Provenio: “Back to aggregates” (« Revenir aux agrégats ») or “Disconnect” (« Déconnecter »). Directly on your side, without writing to us: drop the policy (drop policy), revoke the grants (revoke) or drop the role (drop role); Provenio can then read nothing.

8. The ProvenIA assistant

ProvenIA is an AI-based assistant that answers questions about your figures and suggests changes to your pages. It can be wrong: check its answers before making a decision. What is sent to it, and what we keep, is described in the privacy policy (in French).

9. Availability

We do our best to keep Provenio running, but the service is provided “as is”, with no service level agreement: it may be interrupted, slow or changed, including for maintenance. Figures come from third-party tools, which may be late, incomplete or unavailable, or change their rules: we do not guarantee their accuracy or freshness. Do not make Provenio the only copy of data that matters.

10. Liability

Provenio is intended for professionals. To the extent permitted by law:

  • Provenio is liable only for direct and foreseeable damage caused by its fault;
  • Provenio is not liable for indirect damage (loss of revenue, customers, opportunity or data), for decisions made from the figures shown or from ProvenIA's answers, or for the operation of the third-party tools you connect.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Termination and account deletion

  • You can leave at any time. Delete your account whenever you like from the Profile page of the dashboard, without writing to us. Deletion erases your account, your space memberships, pending invitations, your early-access registration and your “Mes Provenio” interfaces. If you are the last owner of a space, you must first transfer or delete it. Spaces where other owners remain are not deleted. A security log may be kept.
  • Disconnecting a source stops the reading.
  • On our side, we may suspend or close an account that does not comply with these terms, or stop the service, giving you reasonable notice where possible.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, for example as the service evolves. The date of the current version is shown at the top of this page. For an important change we tell you in advance, by e-mail or in the service. If you keep using Provenio after the change takes effect, you accept it; otherwise you can delete your account.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. If we disagree, write to us first: we will look for an amicable solution. Failing that, the competent courts will hear the dispute, subject to mandatory rules protecting a user who is a consumer.

14. Contact

Questions about these terms: contact@provenio.app. Version française : Conditions générales d'utilisation. If the two versions differ, the French version prevails.
